Work and psychological problems

Question
Vraag

In the past I did an SPW training, but then during internships I noticed that my shyness and insecurity was getting in my way (something they also commented on, saying that I wasn’t suitable for the job because of it). This caused me to quit the course, even though my heart lied in working with people. But because of those comments about my shyness and insecurity, I quit and started a job that had little to do with people (like administrative work), but I didn’t like this at all. Because of this, I got a panic disorder and depression, and I left my job sick. I would love to work, but my shyness and insecurity stop me from doing it, and the fear failing again, the words that I was not fit for the job because of my shyness made an impact on me. But, I also never want to work in finance again. And I just don’t know what to do anymore, I really want to work again, even if sitting at home and doing nothing makes me feel depressed. But what can I do? Because of all these experiences I started to think more negatively about myself.
