How can I expect to react during trauma treatment?

Following a treatment session, you may suffer from heavier complaints for a few days. Although this can, of course, be very difficult, it is normal to experience this after treatment. Before you start with the processing phase (EMDR or Imaginal exposure), we will go through a number of healthy strategies you can rely upon to cope with intense fear, anger and sadness. By doing this, you can also learn to cope with the difficult moments after a session.

Write down your reaction to the treatment in your NiceDay diary and register your mood, so that you can get insight into how your complaints are progressing. By doing this, your professional is also able to keep an eye on you and send you a message if necessary.
